HQ Liskeard — Assistant Instructor
A lifelong martial artist who has trained across traditional and modern systems — from Wing Chun and Muay Thai through to JKD, BJJ, and Pekiti Tirsia Kali. BJJ Purple Belt and Lakan Tatlo under Mark Tucker. Rapid Assault Tactics Instructor and C360 Protector combatives instructor.
Background & Experience
Assistant Instructor — C360 Protector HQ Liskeard
Craig Williams began his martial arts journey in Wing Chun — one of the most conceptually refined of the Chinese kung fu systems, built around economy of motion, structure, and close-range effectiveness. That foundation gave him a deep understanding of centreline theory and sensitivity that has informed everything he has trained since.
From Wing Chun, Craig moved into the striking arts, training in Muay Thai and Combat Jiu-Jitsu before broadening further into Filipino Martial Arts — a weapons-based system renowned for its directness, adaptability, and real-world applicability. His exposure to these disciplines brought him into contact with Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee's philosophy of absorbing what is useful and discarding what is not — a principle that has clearly guided Craig's own development as a martial artist.
On the ground, Craig holds a BJJ Purple Belt under Mark Tucker — a rank that represents years of consistent, high-quality training and the ability to control and submit trained grapplers. His purple belt sits within a lineage carrying over 30 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience.
In Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Craig holds the rank of Lakan Tatlo — earned directly under Mark Tucker. This places him within the authentic PTK teaching chain with the formal rank and knowledge to deliver the system to others.
Craig is also a certified Rapid Assault Tactics Instructor and C360 Protector combatives instructor under Mark Tucker — completing a skill set that spans traditional arts, weapons systems, ground fighting, and modern close-quarters combat. His journey across multiple disciplines makes him a well-rounded and knowledgeable assistant instructor at HQ Liskeard.
Beyond the mat, Craig serves with both the South West Coast Guard and South Western Ambulance Service Trust as a Responder — operating on the front line of real emergencies. He holds FREC4 (First Response Emergency Care Level 4) and PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) certifications, giving him a level of medical competence that directly strengthens C360's trauma and Stop The Bleed training. When Craig assists in delivering life-saving skills, he speaks from genuine operational experience.
"Train everything. Master what works. Keep what's real."
